I’m going to bring two horses, one for me and one for my sister who’s b-day is the 25th. So this is perfect.
Do you want copies of the coggins and rabies too? with the waivers?

Oh my goodness. I have ALWAYS thought of doing that. I have unfortunately lost my driving horse last fall, so I can’t do it anymore, but maybe my Morgan/QH will do it next winter. If I have the time it will be worth it.

Yes, there were all sorts of goodies as usual. Mostly pens, and information as usual. But they did something different this year. You know we get a ticket for door prizes? Well, this year they had more tickets at each table. You go to them ask for ticket and you get more chances to get a prize. Still didn’t help me any, but oh well.
I looked for you. Now I know why you were not there. Hope to meet up with you sometime.

It was a good seminar this year. I think I finally got the lameness issue down. I had some of it, but I think I finally get all of it.
The GVEC part at the end was good too. Still didn’t get anything from the door prizes…LOL

I don’t like Black creek park as much as I like Oatka creek park. Black creek is always muddy except in the summer. There are many bridges that are impassable by horses, IE, they are made of plastic that the horses slip on. I have ridden a bit through there, but I feel trapped by the bridges everywhere and you have to turn around instead of making a nice circle to get back. There are some nice trails, just not as nice as Oatka parks.

Hey, I live right around the corner from there and was seriously thinking of travelling along that route and heading home. I would park my trailer on Brooks and I believe it’s a 3mile hike back to my property on Reed and Sheffer. I figured I could get someone to bring my trailer back if I planned it out right. It’s cool to know someone else had ridden that exact trail I want to try.
