Description:
Riders will be asked to go up an embankment no higher than the width of a barrel on its side.
Options:
- May be executed at the Walk, Trot, Canter at different levels
How is it Judged?
- Riders should release reins and allow horse full use of his head and neck
- Riders are allowed to grab mane with no deduction
- Penalties for “catching horse in the mouth” , loss of balance or getting left behind when horse moves through the obstacle.
- English and Western riders should use 2-point position
- Horse judged on calm, willingness and balance
- Penalty for refusal, run out, backing
- Penalty for stumbling
- Western riders may hold on to the horn to protect their body
